To Do Lists, they are not as scarey as one would think. Not if you are using them effectively.
Now let me state one thing right off the top. It is always important to take time to feel free and spontanteous. It is a gift to yourself and your friends and family. Do make sure to plan this kind of free time for yourself.
Now on to the To Do list. This is very easy.
1. Simple lined paper. I like to use a 5 subject notebooks.
Now create 4 lists:
- Business ASAP – must be done now (money making tasks)
- Business General – things that should be done in the next 2-3 weeks
- Personal Life ASAP – must be done now (calling the plumper before the basement floods)
- Personal Life General – things that should be done in the next 2-3 weeks
Be sure to leave room for a check mark… or use a coloured marker to cross off the list.
The biggest trick of all in this is to create a habit, stick to the plan, work the list.
You will remain focused, you will accomplish more, you will be less stressed. I carry my notebook with me where ever I am, even on vacation. (you always come up with the best ideas when you are relaxing!)
As you make those check marks or colour the page with the stroke of the marker, you will begin to feel the greatest sense of accomplishment!
You can succeed!
