The main focus is to be so compelling to your list that they cannot help but be interested in what you are offering them. One of the main concerns marketers have with solo mailings (or any sales efforts for that matter) is to make sure their offer is a high quality one. They fear that selling to their subscribers may lead to people opting out rather than opting in.</p>
<p>These 4 quick tips will help you to craft a solo mailing that will be successful and still leave you with the respect of your list members.</p>
<p><strong>Quick Tip #1: Write an Effective Subject Line</strong></p>

<p>An effective subject line calls out to the members of your list.  It intrigues them enough to make them want to open your email when they are being bombarded with forwards, spam, and solicitations.  For your readers to want to open up your solo mailing, you need to make sure your subject line gives them a reason to stop and take notice.</p>
<p>Try asking a question, give a startling fact, or use their name to begin the message. These are all excellent ways to create an effective “clickable” subject line.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You’ve read all the benefits about having your own information products and you’re ready to get started. Congratulations, but where do you actually start? It can be a daunting process to write and put together your first info product but by following a few simple steps you can save a lot of time and effort.</p>
<p>Here are a few tips to help you on your way to your first information product:</p>
<p><strong>Do Your Research:</strong> Before spending a lot of time putting a product together, you should research to learn if there really is a need for it. You can start by visiting online forums related to your target market. Other websites which offer similar products or services to yours are also a good place to start.</p>
<p>You can also ask your customers what they need. If you have newsletter subscribers send an email out asking what they would like to see more of. You can even give them a free giveaway in exchange for their feedback. A poll on your website also works well. No matter which way you do it, just make sure you do your research before starting your writing.</p>
<p><strong>Write an Outline: </strong>The easiest way to get started is to write an outline of what your product will include. Go through the outline and brainstorm each section until you’re happy with the results. Then you will need to go through each section and research that specific topic.</p>
<p>You can easily get help with the research part by hiring a VA (virtual assistant) to help you. An outline breaks the process down into attainable steps and once you have the outline you can start writing each section. You can also record your thoughts or you have another person interview you, then have the audio transcribed and you should have a big portion of your product. Of course, it won’t be completely ready, which leads us to the next part.</p>
<p><strong>Putting it all Together: </strong>Once you have your research, it’s a matter of sitting down and doing the writing. With your research already pre-written then it won’t be too difficult to go through (following your structure) and put the first phase of the product together. Once you have that very, very rough draft go back through the book again and start editing, changing things around, omitting things here and there and so on until you have a finished draft.</p>
<p>Leave it aside for at least 24 hours then go back to it and repeat the editing process all over again. And then keep doing this until you feel comfortable and happy with what you have produced. The final step is to hand it over to a trusted relative or friend who can look it over and give you constructive criticism.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To help increase the flow of traffic to your website, nothing beats an autoresponder.  These programs can save you a lot of time by answering most of your emails automatically.  They can handle customer support questions, product related questions, or provide information about your company and services.  If you own an online business – an autoresponder is something you should definitely invest in.</p>
<p>Autoresponders can also be used to track your promotions and how effective they are.  These days, autoresponders are one of the best tools that you can get for your online business.  They are used by some of the biggest and most popular online companies, and for good reason.  They simplify your life with your business – and give you more time to dedicate to other things.</p>
<p>If you are planning to submit your website to search engines like Google or Yahoo, you should know that most search engines use autoresponders themselves.  Therefore, if you attempt to contact search engines using your autoresponder, theirs will contact yours and you’ll have a never ending reply of emails that will eventually flood both of your email boxes.</p>
<p>Under no circumstances, should you ever use your autoresponder to subscribe to forums or other discussion type subscriptions.  A majority of the time, these discussion groups and such will email you updates regarding new information.  If you joined with an autoresponder address, your autoresponder will send a response each and every time.  This can get very annoying very fast, and a majority of the time you will end up being unsubscribed.  In this event, it can be very hard for the administrator or webmaster to determine who is using the autoresponder.  Therefore, to make things easier, you should never use your autoresponder with any subscription.</p>
<p>There are some companies out there that completely take advantage of autoresponders.  They will use their autoresponder to respond to automated messages, which will automatically subscribe the “from” address in their mailing list.  This is totally the wrong way to use and autoresponder, and those who use it in this manner are displaying a very negative image.  Using your auto responder this way will send a negative image rather than positive.  Instead of spreading good word about you and your company, people will become upset and spread the word that you should be avoided.</p>
<p>Whenever you use your autoresponder, you should always use courtesy towards your customers and your visitors.  Autoresponders are meant to help your company grow, and help you spread information about your services, products, and your company.  There are many creative and innovative ways that you can use this tool, providing you do it the right way.  Most customers know when they are receiving an autoresponder message, and if you don’t use it the right way they will know it.  Although you can always change or add to the preset messages; most contain a unique signature and address that will always be associated with autoresponders.</p>
<p>The Internet is one of the best ways to conduct business and promote your products.  Autoresponders can help you save a lot of time, although when you use them in the wrong ways, they will eventually get you a negative image.  If you know you are using it the wrong way and continue to do so, you will eventually lose a lot of business and your company will suffer a great deal.  On the other hand, if you always think in terms of courtesy towards your customers, your autoresponder can help you obtain a lot of business and establish relationships with customers who will always spread the word about your company.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With the awareness of the importance of list building, comes a recent Internet Marketing trend which was started just a couple of years ago for the mutual benefits of all Internet Marketers and mailing list owners.</p>
<p>This method is more recognized as a “starting a Give Away venture”.</p>
<p>In a real sense, a Give Away event is much like a big time version of ad swaps. In a nutshell, a group of mailing list owners partner together and pool in their individual gifts in one limited-time event.</p>
<p>Each participating partner contributes a gift to the event. The gift can be a free product, membership pass or a product he is already selling (if he is kind enough to offer into the event).</p>
<p>The participating partner prepares a Lead Capture Page where he gives the gift in exchange for the subscriber’s email address. In other words, in order for a visitor to download the digital gift, he must opt in and subscribe to your mailing list.</p>
<p>When the gifts are pooled together into one event (site), every partner will then endorse the Give Away event to their own mailing lists.</p>
<p>The result: lots of visitors to one event as a collective effort of several participating partners!</p>
<p>With so many visitors downloading gifts from one focused event, it is a true win-win situation. This is because the visitors get to download several free gifts for their own use and every partner gets to build their own mailing list!</p>
<p>You can easily get notified about a Give Away event in the making by communicating with other Internet Marketers often or participating in Internet Marketing discussion and Joint Venture boards.</p>

Most Internet marketers understand the basic concept of email marketing which is to email promotional materials to a large group of Internet users to promote an interest in your products or services. This concept is easy for many to understand but sometimes there are added benefits to email marketing. This article will discuss the basics of email marketing and will also explain how sometimes email marketing can be much further reaching than planned. This additional reach can be either a positive or a negative depending on the quality of the original emails and the reactions of the original recipients.</p>
<p>Email marketing is a very simple concept which is also extremely cost effective. The general idea behind email marketing is that an email is sent to an email distribution list and these emails are intended to create an interest in the products or services offered by the originator of the email. In theory this concept could not be simpler but email marketing can get significantly more complicated. One of the biggest complicating factors is the potential for the emails used in the marketing campaign to be viewed as spam by either the recipient of the email or the spam filter provided by the Internet service provider. This potential alone creates a major complication because Internet marketers have to make a significant effort to assure their messages are not trapped by a spam filter or immediately deleted by the recipients for appearing to be spam.</p>
<p>Once the email messages get through to the recipient, they have a small window of opportunity to make a positive impression on the recipients and influence him to make a purchase or at least visit the business owner’s website. Providing quality content, keeping advertising subtle and at a minimum and providing a clear call to action are all factors which can help to get the message across and entice the potential customer to make a purchase or at least visit the website to research the products and services a little bit more. </p>
<p>As previously stated the goal of an email marketing campaign is to convince the email recipient to either make a purchase or visit the website to obtain more information. When an email recipient performs either one of these actions, it is considered a huge success. However, thanks to the power of the forward button email marketing can actually be much more successful than even the business owner intended. </p>
<p>The great aspect of email marketing is that when the email recipients receive an email which they think is worthwhile they are likely to make a purchase and may also forward the information onto a friend or family member they think might be interested in this information as well. The ability to forward email messages has become comparable satisfied customers using word of mouth to tout the quality of the products or services they received. However, the ability to forward a worthwhile email message is exponentially more effective than using word of mouth to spread the word. With just a few clicks of the mouse, the original email recipient can forward the message to several of his friends at once. This can result in significantly better results than the business owner had originally intended with no additional effort on behalf of the business owners. </p>
