			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is no excuse not to have an ezine list. In fact, you don&#8217;t even need your own product or service before starting a targeted list. All you need is an autoresponder and an opt-in box on your website.</p>
<p>Once you do create your own product or service, you’ll be happy that you already have your list in place. By then, you’ll already have readers who are interested in what you have to say. In fact, it will make it easier to sell those things when the time comes because a relationship will already be developed.</p>
<p><em>The Key = </em>If you can get a targeted list of people who trust you, love your products and see you as an expert in your field your chances of reaching success have just skyrocketed above everyone else.</p>
<p><strong>Quick Tip #1: Get Them to Opt-In</strong></p>

<p>You should always offer quality content for free on your site so that when you do create an offer your readers are already confident that what you’re offering is worth their time &amp; money.</p>
<p>Here are some ideas to entice your visitors to sign up for your list:</p>
<ul>
<li>A Special Report –      7-10 pages in length</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>A Short eCourse – 5 to      7 days that will give you a chance to provide great information along with      the ability to follow up in the future.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Informative Audio or      Video – Make it one that can’t be found already on your site. Be sure to      include transcripts for those who want them.</li>
</ul>
<p>Make sure your free item of such great quality that your visitor could picture themselves paying for it instead of receiving it free.</p>
<p>Remember, not everyone on your list will be interested in buying your stuff immediately. Some just want to get your free information. That’s ok – the day may come when they need something you’ve got and they’ll know where to go. Plus, if you’ve built a relationship with them, they’re more likely to recommend you to others – growing your list even more.</p>
<p><em>Bonus Tip: </em>Here’s a trick to help you separate the buyers from the freebie seekers.</p>
<p>Create a short report for your list. Offer your readers the report at a low price (no more than $5 or 10 dollars). Those who see the value in what you’re offering will gladly spend a few dollars. Have the customers opt-in for lifetime updates.</p>
<p>If you can, purge the new customers from your leads list. If not, don&#8217;t worry about it. However, the great value in this method is that you’ll end up with a list of people who aren’t afraid to spend money &#8212; and that&#8217;s where the real money is.</p>

<p>You have an opt-in form, you have an offer and now you need traffic. The best offer means nothing if no one is visiting your site to see it.</p>
<p>There are many different ways to drive people to your site and using a variety of them will help you achieve the best results. A few to get you started:</p>

<li>Article Marketing – Share your articles on article directories. Make sure your author bio includes a strong call to action and a link to your site. Use keywords in your articles to make them easier to find by the search engines.</li>

<li>Leveraging Social Networks – Did you know there are over 600 bookmarking and social networking sites on the Internet right now? Twitter and Facebook might be the most popular, but don’t count out sites like StumbleUpon or Digg.</li>

<p>The point is you should be creating relationships through these sites so don’t go in with your sales spiel guns shooting your links all over the place. Build relationships, create your bio and <em>occasionally</em> share a link or special offer to your site.</p>

<li>Blog Posts – If your website doesn’t have a blog create one and share quality information or recommendations in your posts.</li>

<li>Blog Comments – Make meaningful, relevant comments that provide good information (not just links to your site) on other blogs. Don’t comment just for the sake of commenting and don’t be afraid to comment on the blogs of your competitors. Competition is good and most realize the power of working together so while you’re helping with comments, you’ll build a relationship with them too.</li>

<li>Giveaways &amp; Contests –Create traffic by hosting a giveaway or contest. Each has its own merits and you can work with other website owners to create traffic for everyone. For example, get 3 or 4 site owners with services or products they’re willing to donate. Those site owners each get to give away the “package” of 3 &#8211; 4 items. You can have your readers participate (which is always good) by visiting all of the sites and leaving comments or whatever you’d like them to do. Be creative but make it fun and easy.</li>

<li>Link Love Posts – Write a “round-up” post where you travel the Internet looking for great articles on your topic. Provide links to the articles on your site. Don’t forget to add your commentary and make it more valuable for your readers. Share the link to your post with the people you’ve linked to as a courtesy.</li>

<li>Guest Posts – Offer to write guest posts on complementary sites. Everyone is looking for fresh content. Especially, if it’s good quality and they don’t have to write it. You can find places that accept guest posts by doing a search or you can simply email your friends and competing site owners and make the offer to write a post. What do you get in return for your hard work?  A short bio/author resource box at the end of your post with your keywords and links back to your site.</li>

<li>Interviews – Find places to share your information via teleseminars, podcasts or email interviews. Often, these will provide you with the ability to get your name and URL out to many people, not already on your list, at one time.</li>
</ul>

<li>Contributors – Look for people to contribute guest posts on your blog for fresh content with an eye to providing quality information to your readers. People are often willing to write a guest post for you as long as they can link back to their own site or product.</li>
</ul>

<li>Brandable Reports – Look for products you can recommend (or create your own) that have brandable reports as a marketing tool. You can give away these special reports that include your own affiliate links making the benefits two-fold. <p><em>The Key</em> = Find out what your target market’s intent is when searching for information in your niche. What, exactly, are they searching for? Give it to them.</p>
<p><strong>Quick Tip #4: Test</strong></p>

<p>No matter what you use to drive traffic to your site, you must test to see which offers convert and which are wasting your time. You want to turn visitors into list members AND you want to convert members of your list into buyers. But, the only way you’ll know what action is working best for you is to test them all.</p>
<p>You just need to start at the beginning and just get it done! Get your stuff out there and then test the heck out of it! Tweak &amp; test again.</p>
<p>Now that you have the steps necessary to get your list started, growing your list should be a little bit easier for you. Just focus your efforts on designing a great offer, making your opt-in form easy to find and getting targeted traffic to your site so that your reader’s eyeballs see that opt-in box. Then, choose a few of the strategies to get traffic and see which ones work best for you. Remember to test and tweak your efforts until you get the best possible results.</p>

<p>The best way to accomplish this is to think about how your offer is different from the other offers out there. What are you going to offer to that person&#8217;s customers that no one has before? Make sure that you have truly thought this out before making contact.</p>

<p>Many marketers just focus on sending many JV requests out hoping that someone, anyone, will say yes.  The problem is that the most seasoned marketers can spot this a mile away. <p>It can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating once you begin setting up shop. To help ease the fears and avoid common mistakes, here are 4 quick tips to help.</p>
<p><strong>It’s a Business</strong></p>

<p>Once you’ve decided what you’re going to do as your home business you need to treat it a business, not a hobby. When a person has a job and goes work, that person has a start time, time for breaks/lunch and an end time. That person would have a space of their own (an office or cubicle) to work in with minimal distractions. You should make the same concessions for your home business. You owe it to your business to treat it like one.</p>
<p>Create a schedule and stick to it. Let your family and friends know what days and hours you’ll be working. Be sure to let them know that you won’t be available while you’re building your business. If you’re working at home with little ones, you may have to create your schedule around theirs by getting up earlier or staying up later.</p>
<p>If you act like your business is a hobby then you’ll spend money on it. Treat your business as a business and you’ll make money for your efforts.</p>
<p><strong>Stuff You Need</strong></p>

<p>Like any other business you need “stuff” to be successful. The items in your workspace don’t need to be expensive, just functional. If your office ends up being at your kitchen table, that’s ok.  As long as you&#8217;re treating your business like a business, that matters the most. <p>Two of the biggest problems you’ll find with working from home are managing your time and keeping your focus.</p>
<p>Remember the mantra? Your business is a business. But, there are daily tasks that need to be done which can become huge time warps if the reigns aren’t kept tight. These can sap your energy &amp; creativity.</p>
<p>Email, forums, chat applications and social networking are necessary evils. If you don&#8217;t keep a tight rein on your networking, it can easily become a matter of fitting your business in between your other Internet activities, instead of the other way around. Once you get your money making tasks out of the way each day, you can create time chunks to do the fun stuff.</p>

<p>However, don’t be afraid to take breaks to refresh your mind. Remember, you’re the boss so you can call it an early day or a day off completely if necessary. Just don’t forget that along with free time &amp; days off you need to fit in work time for your home business.</p>

<p>You most likely already know enough to get started. However, a common mistake is to continue to learn, thinking that you need to know more and more and more – and not actually taking action. You don’t need to buy more ebooks or ecourses to learn more stuff to get started. Get over your fear of success, put one foot in front of the other and get to doing. You can always revise or redo later. The important thing is to TAKE ACTION.</p>
<p>Make a deal with yourself to work with what you know NOW and don’t buy anything else until you actually make some money. That snazzy-sounding course is not going to put up your website, write your copy or create that product. Make a list of the money making action items you need to complete and do those first.</p>
<p>Having a successful home business is possible, but it takes hard work and dedication. There are many time wasters and time suckers out there that can and will stand in your way. Success will not happen overnight, but if you keep your focal point in mind and work hard, you will definitely reap the rewards.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many (most?) of us dream of the perfect job or business, but few of us ever get there. Usually this is not because of a lack of opportunity, but more of an abundance of fear. To follow you heart to your business dreams takes courage, lots of it. And a good dose of chutzpah helps, too. Go to any bookstore and you will find literally dozens of books on self-employment, starting your own business, writing business plans, and so on.</p>
<p>Pick a few or read them all; you are bound to get good practical advice. Take classes, work with a coach, join groups. If you don’t get overwhelmed by all the input you will be able to set the forces in motion and get started.</p>
<p>Here are four simple steps you may or may not get in those practical guides or from that experienced business coach:</p>
<p>Do listen to your heart (and your coach if you have one): I finally went for the gusto, back to something I first did when I was nine years old, after piddling around in dissatisfying jobs or unsuccessful ventures for years. Now I am happy and making money at it, too. Recently I ran across notes from coaching I did a couple of business flops back. What struck me is that I am now doing pretty much what the sessions pointed to, information I ignored for years. I stopped trying to put square me in the round hole.</p>
<p>Don’t talk too much to friends: This is not to protect your idea, although that may well be a consideration. This is to protect yourself. Your friends and family members may be well-intentioned, or they may be unintentional saboteurs. Well-meaning people can say mean things. Don’t listen to criticism and advice from people who don’t really understand what you are doing or why you are doing it. If you do listen, but don’t take it to heart.</p>
<p>Trust in yourself.<br />
Know yourself and your pace: I am a plodder; it takes me a long time to make decisions, take the first steps, make the calls. The ideas are there, they just sometimes take a long time to come to fruition. I know my pace. People are compelled to tell me to contact Oprah about my product, start looking into manufacturing/mass production, do this, do that. I am not ready to do all that, and I know it. I just smile and nod, and go at my snail’s pace. It works for me, even if it does not work for others. Maybe you are the sort to rush headlong into things and that is great. But if you take what seems like forever, don’t beat yourself up over it. Remember the Hare and the Tortoise?</p>
<p>Avoid panic and self-doubt: This is probably the hardest step for me. If there is a lull in business I freak out and think I will go broke. Invoking the lessons of “The Secret” may or may not help. I obsessively look at similar products on line and question what I am doing, even though I know I am doing what is right for ME and is working as is. Do your best to avoid comparing your business or product to others that are similar. If you are struggling financially, get a part time job, get a loan, but don’t throw in the towel if you are truly doing what you love. Take a deep breath and another step forward.</p>
<p>So, in addition to all the practical aspects of starting a business, keep these emotional steps in mind as well. Being on your own is not easy, but it is worth it if you do it right. Trust your instincts, follow your heart, do what you love. Good luck!</p>

<p>When we are very young or very old, time seems endless. But for the majority of our lives, time is something we always need.</p>
<p>We are always pressed for time or seem to owe time to others from our bosses to our families. Time is such a valuable commodity so we need to make sure that we use it carefully. Careful use of our time means one thing &#8212; time management.</p>
<p>The sad truth is that most of us who are really in need of time management rarely utilize it. However, spending time on this simple four-step plan named &#8220;TIME&#8221; can really make a difference in your day, your life, and your time!</p>
<p><strong>T Is For Taking Time To Plan</strong></p>
<p>Every minute spent on planning and organizing will save at least that amount of time when you implement your plan. Shopping trips taken without a list often result in wasted time, errands run without prior planning often mean wasted time, and tasks not properly organized often mean wasted time. We all know this is true and yet we still rush forward in our haste to get something done. Take time to plan and you will be more efficient.</p>
<p><strong>I Is For Involving Others</strong></p>
<p>Whether at work or at home, involving other crucial stake-holders in your planning and prioritizing can help you attend to the essentials and share the work. Others may have good ideas to help you achieve your goals and others may well spark even more ideas from you. Sometimes, simply talking things over with a sympathetic audience can help you think more clearly. Don&#8217;t forget to give others a share in the work as well as the planning.</p>
<p><strong>M Is For Meditation</strong></p>
<p>No matter how busy your life or hectic your schedule is, you must take time to reflect on your goals and dreams. Taking a few moment to clear your mind, focus your energy, and rebuild your strength can revitalize you and help you accomplish more when you swing back into action.</p>
<p>Allowing yourself this down time may well give you the opportunity to prioritize and brainstorm so you can be even more productive than before. Even if you don&#8217;t have brainstorms from taking this time out, it will definitely give you an energy boost.</p>
<p><strong>E Is For Evaluation</strong></p>
<p>It is important for you to regularly evaluate your priorities and goals. Perhaps you have accomplished tasks that can now be permanently crossed off your list or can be set aside until a later date. Perhaps you have achieved certain goals resulting in a change of other priorities. Perhaps you simply have learned something along the way that caused a number of shifts in your priorities and goals.</p>
<p>Evaluation can also give you a sense of accomplishment if you look back on what you have achieved and the goals you have reached.</p>
<p>Even if taking TIME for time management can seem wasteful, it is actually a process that pays for itself time and again. Time management may cost you time for planning and organization but in the end it helps you gain time through efficiency and prioritization. The simple truth is that time management saves you time and stress.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Writing ebooks is a MUST if you want to increase your credibility and expert status online, make more money in all areas of your business, stomp your competition and create a profitable Internet/information business.</p>
<p>80% of people believe they have a book or ebook in them but less than 1% will actually write one! That means that just by authoring an ebook you will elevate your status and be seen as an authority automatically.</p>
<p>Think about it, the word “author” comes from the word “authority” and when you are an authority doors open and opportunities abound and your business will start to EXPLODE!</p>
<p><span id="more-625"></span>The problem is, writing an ebook can be overwhelming. If you’ve never written an ebook and don’t know how to get started, or if you hate to write, or don’t know how to write here are 5 ways to jump-start your authoring career online immediately.</p>
<p>1. Write a series of articles and compile them into an ebook or have some one else do it for you from already existing content like a manual, homestudy course, of teleseminar. Or, compile other people’s articles into an ebook. It’s really simple!</p>
<p>2. Find a work in the public domain that is still relevant to people. (You can find this out by doing a keyword search) write an introduction and you’ll have an ebook, one-two-three!</p>
<p>3. Give a teleseminar and have it transcribed. One hour of content will give you about 30 pages of material while one hour of a dialogue will give you about 40 pages of content. So you need two to three hours of content.</p>
<p>4. Compile your blog entries into an ebook. Find entries on the same topics and compile them into an ebook! blog entries. If you don’t have enough yet, keep writing and before you know it, you will!</p>
<p>5. Write an ebook from scratch-it’s much easier than you think! Pick a topic. Then decide on 6 topics you want to discuss pertaining to that topic. Then write several points on each topic and before you know it you’ll have an 80 or 90-page ebook!</p>
<p>There is no right way to write an ebook, all of these methods work. So pick the one that is the most comfortable for you and will help you get your ebook out in the least amount of time. The important thing is to decide to get started and do it!</p>

One of the most common dilemmas is that whether should the Internet Marketer advertise the product or service he is selling directly to the subscribers of the eZine he is paying advertising for?</p>
<p>This can be a wise method, but with ifs and buts. For one, the advertisement must be compelling and attention grabbing. Secondly, there is no telling if the eZine’s subscribers constantly practice a buying habit until you put some money to find out.</p>
<p>Investing even a small sum of money can be risky to a number of Internet Marketers who are on tight budgets. But in spite of the risk factors, eZine advertising can still be rewarding, if done right.</p>
<p>Thus the solution: the marketer would be wiser if he or she uses eZine advertising to build his or her mailing list. It makes sense, anyway. Since some eZines display more than one sponsored advertisement, you can grab the subscriber’s attention by giving a free or risk-free product or offer through your ad.</p>
<p>When the subscriber clicks on your ad, he or she can opt into your mailing list in exchange for the free offer, which can be a free report or even a trial service.</p>
<p>While you are not making a hard sell through your advertisement just yet, building your list by getting other eZine’s subscribers subscribed to your eZine allows you to follow up with them in the future, as and when you have new offers.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What is a blog?  A blog is a sort of journal, published on the web.  It allows the author to<br />
share his views, thoughts, and insight with the world.  It may be used to show off writing<br />
or journalism skills or to share a passion for a particular subject.  </p>
<p>Blogs have become a part of the internet technology craze and have become exceedingly<br />
popular.  They offer writers freedom of speech with an audience that is world wide.  It<br />
gives people a chance to use the world as a sounding board for their emotions, thoughts,<br />
and areas of expertise.  They also offer readers the chance to bond with writers who think<br />
similarly to them.</p>
<p>There are also financial benefits to owning and/or writing a blog.  Blogging sites can<br />
often be set up with banner ads that provide the blogger with a percentage of profits<br />
generated from that advertisement.  Other ads can be set up that pay a blogger a certain<br />
amount for each time a reader clicks on the advertisement from the blog&#8217;s page.  This is<br />
an easy way to make a little extra money by writing and doing something that you love.</p>
<p>Another advantage to starting your own personal blog is that it gives people a chance to<br />
gain confidence in themselves as writers.  When a writer gains a readership, it makes the<br />
writer feel that his work is presentable and can prove to be beneficial to others.  It is<br />
always nice to know that what you are doing is good and is being appreciated, especially<br />
when that praise comes from someone that you do not even personally know.  Writing<br />
regularly and receiving regular, positive feedback can help to increase a writer&#8217;s self<br />
esteem.  An increase in self esteem can then in turn also help a writer to actually become<br />
better at the writing itself.  As they learn what readers like, the content they produce<br />
becomes more relevant and more applicable to those blog visitors.</p>
<p>A blog can also be used as a way for beginning writers to express themselves without true<br />
fear of rejection.  Plenty of people are interested but have never made the leap into the<br />
world of writing because they are afraid of being turned down or rejected by the public.<br />
A blog allows them to write somewhat anonymously (or completely anonymously as they<br />
desire) and not feel overly pressured or limited in that endeavor.  No one really knows<br />
who they are, so any negative comments do not necessarily affect them as personally.<br />
They are free to express themselves and their thoughts without consequence.  This can<br />
help to strengthen self esteem as well and make them more comfortable with themselves<br />
and with sharing their talents with the world.</p>
<p>Finally, blogs can be used as an amazing avenue for free advertising.  Those who have a<br />
limited budget can use blogs to promote products.  It actually does not cost a singly<br />
penny to write a blog posting and advertise a product.  Readers can also instantly read<br />
blog postings, making profit from the postings occur fairly quickly.  It can be an great<br />
marketing tool.  </p>
